Comments Having Opposite Connotations than What They Mean

August 8, 2018

How many people actually say what they mean straight to your face?

It has certainly become a way of life to put on a fake face and comment on things people want you to hear by making you believe they’ve got your best interests in mind.

For that reason, not all comments should be taken at face value or be mistaken for sincerity.

Yes, being nice to others opens a dialogue between people and closes the distance between them.

But closeness can, at certain times, be suffocating.

How many people have lost their minds, due to problems that have been created in their lives, because of someone close?

Why pay the price of letting people walk over you, when it could have been avoided at no additional cost?

And why give people joy for finding flaws in you just so that they can feel superior in some kind of way?

Criticizing others has become a normal thing, as a great deal of emphasis is spent on expressing oneself nowadays.

There are different types of people on this earth, and the majority are not what they seem.

Not only that but open discussions have emerged about everything – a lot are finding that more people are accepting of saying what’s on their minds.

Nevertheless, comments should be filtered.

Generally speaking, your best interests will never be in your favor if you hang out with the same group of people whose life’s hobby is to shower you with negative comments.

People, sometimes, hide their intentions to get you to do what they want.

If reflecting your behavior onto them will make them feel bad about how they've been treating you, only because you’ve busted them in their wrongdoings, then, a lot more stands should be taken against them to stop them from saying what’s on their minds.

One should know that comments and their insinuations may have a big affect on the receiver.

The only way to win over these people is to act like them.

Play their game, for comments are not meant to be one-sided.

Two people can play the game.

In the comments below, do you agree or disagree with the idea of filtering our thoughts from one another?
